INSPIRATION

Across The Sands has been viewed by some as reminiscent of a desert scape and by others as a seascape print. Both interpretations are valid as the composition is imaginary but influenced by Carol’s time on the Northumberland coast and time spent in Namibia. It is a mixed media print combining paint and collagraph printmaking.
