Evening Curlew III | British Wildlife Art Print
Evening Curlew III | British Wildlife Art Print
INSPIRATION
The endangered curlew symbolises Northumberland National Park, emphasising the link between nature and art. In spring and summer, these birds inhabit grassy hills and lakes, migrating to the coast in autumn and winter. Their unique shape complements my artistic style and the landscape's stone walls. My prints incorporate local plants to connect with my inspiration, capturing the essence of the curlew's habitat. This print is a refined version of a larger plate, showcasing intricate beauty despite the original being damaged, breathing new life into a meaningful landscape element.
