Workshop Structure: Spend your day creating one or two distinctive textured plates through fire manipulation, then explore various inking methods to bring your heat-formed surfaces to life. Materials provided: Mount board and all specialist equipment including blowtorches, safety gear, printing materials, and surface treatments. Participants are welcome to bring alternative substrates for experimentation - ply wood adds natural grain texture and can be carved into, while metal plates like steel allow for drypoint work or can give new life to previously etched plates through added burnt texture.
