I don’t know about you but in our house Christmas feels very unreal and strange.
We won’t be seeing our daughter and her partner we still don’t know if our son can come from Glasgow. He lives in one of the areas where the Scottish Test & Trace are rolling out mass testing from this week, so we will have to wait and see.
This bridge over the burn (stream to those of you who don’t live in the North East) is literally a stone’s throw from the bottom of my garden. The little bridge is one of those local landmarks that I completely took for granted until, following the dog’s lead (excuse the pun!), I found myself observing the it from a fresh angle, framed in a sea of copper and gold.
