INSPIRATION

Copse Over The Wall II - V/E 2/20. A landscape art original print by Irish artist Carol Nunan who lives and works in Rothesay on the Isle of Bute off the west coast of Scotland.

Inspired by the very distinctive tree copses that sit on the horizon in Northumberland , this richly coloured, textured original collagraph print that brings together one of the key features of the wild landscapes of Carol’s home and association with her former home in Northumberland. There is a plethora of stone walls, which are characterised by the geology of the area in which they are found, often covered in distinctive lichen and mosses.
