INSPIRATION

"The Whisper of Wings At Lindisfarne Priory" by Carol Nunan is an original print inspired by Holy Island. Made in Northumberland and later finished in Rothesay, this artwork blends monotype and collagraph techniques to capture the peaceful essence of the the island, rich in Christian heritage and wildlife. The print reflects Carol's experience overnight stay on the island, as she soaked up its serene atmosphere and natural surroundings. She tried to bring together the harmonious blend of history and nature on Holy Island, inviting viewers to connect with its timeless beauty.
