Eco-friendly Greetings Cards - British Wildlife Collection
-
Our eco-friendly greeting cards wildlife collection started with Carol's love of birds. She was drawn to birds with clear shapes. The curlew became special to her. It's the symbol of Northumberland National Park.
She often heard curlews calling. But she rarely saw them in the moorland grass. Moving to the Isle of Bute changed this. Here, curlews gather in large numbers along the shore. They're easy to see up close.
Through Bute's bird watching group, Carol learned to spot seabirds and raptors. She also saw the harm plastic causes to island wildlife. Birds wash ashore after storms. Their stomachs are full of plastic waste.
This drove her passion for creating eco-friendly greeting cards. These cards honor wildlife. They also say no to the plastic that harms these amazing creatures. Each eco-friendly greeting card supports plastic-free communication.

Eco-friendly Greetings Cards - Landscape & Seascape Collection
-
Carol's landscape and seascape eco-friendly greeting cards began in Northumberland. She loved the county's clear outlines. The dramatic castles rising from rough coasts caught her eye. These iconic buildings gave her bold, clear forms. They worked well in printmaking.
Since moving to the Isle of Bute, her work has grown. She uses her love of color to show mood. She wants to capture the deep feeling of standing in these places.
Each eco-friendly greeting card shows more than just the view. It captures the experience. The quality of light. Changing weather. The moods of each season. That feeling of being present in wild, special places.
These eco-friendly greeting cards let you share those moving moments. When landscape becomes more than scenery. It becomes a feeling you can send to others.
Eco-friendly Greetings Cards - Floral Collection
-
Our floral eco-friendly greeting cards show Carol's unique way of capturing flower shapes. She uses special printing methods called monotype.
Carol uses clear masks for each flower shape. She inks them one by one. Then she places them on an inked plate. After the first print, she lifts and flips the masks. They hold ink that was trapped below. This creates layers and depth.
This process continues. She builds ghost images. She adds new inked shapes. She works until the base plate runs out of ink. Or she adds more ink and creates marks for extra interest.
These plant-based eco-friendly greeting cards show wild meadow flowers. They also show garden blooms. Carol is currently creating a wildflower garden on Bute. She grows bee-friendly plants there.
Each eco-friendly greeting card celebrates the detailed beauty of flower forms. They support both wildlife care and sustainable communication.
