My husband Chris and I open up our home to anyone from outside the region to make it easier and more affordable to book one of my courses. We offer informal and friendly B&B with the option to join us for an evening meal. Our home is 20 minutes walk or a 5 minute drive from my studio. If you are traveling by public transport, we will pick you up from the bus or train station.

Our home is a three bedroom sandstone end late Victorian terrace, circa 1900. The house has a lovely quiet private garden overlooking woodland with a burn running at the bottom of it. You would never know we are just a five minute walk from Hexham’s town centre!

The attic room is small, but light and airy, with a comfortable small double bed. It is on the top floor and so feels quite private. There is an en suite toilet with washbasin. The main bathroom is a shared one on the first floor.

Printmakers often choose to turn a stay with us into a creative break, taking time to explore the area, gathering inspiration for their own work and booking additional days in the studio after a workshop. You need look no further than Hexham Abbey on the Market Place or our beautiful Sele Park fashioned from the ancient Abbey grounds - both 5 minutes walk from us.

If you have a partner, there is plenty close by to occupy them while you print. We are on the doorstep of:

  • £40 per night - single occupancy

    • Bed and full English or continental breakfast using local and/or homemade produce

  • Optional extras

    • £6 per day for a packed lunch

    • £15 pp for a two course evening meal

Here are some alternative options for B&B and self catering accommodation.

There is also Hexham Town House B&B, run by our neighbours, Mick and Julie, or a friend, Ann Dolan, who is on AirBnB but offers preferential room rates if you book direct through me.
